Position Available: Family and Behavior Support Coordinator
This is a partnership position between the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District and the Family Support Center. The person in this position is an employee of the Family Support Center, a community-based agency, while the duties of the job are located within the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District Elementary Schools.
This position supports the success of families and students in crisis in which the student is displaying behavior symptoms. The Coordinator strives to advance a safe environment and quality of life for students, families, and educators. Specifically, this position: leads the development of and implements interventions, functional behavior assessments, and behavior plans; develops procedures and training materials, workshops and trainings for families and school staff; provides educational support groups and individual counseling and problem solving and crisis intervention; collaborates with the public mental health community, social workers, and schools to identify and support families in crisis with students displaying behavioral symptoms.

Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

​Preferred qualifications include: education, training or other experience in: Applied Behavioral Analysis; Psychology with Behavioral Analysis Emphasis; Social Work; Counseling; Special Education with Emotional/ Behavioral Emphasis.

Other preferred qualifications include: experience working with a variety of families; experience working in a school setting and with community agencies.

This is a full time, salaried position within the academic year (roughly August 26 – June 5) with minimal hours throughout the summer. Benefits include health insurance, sick leave and personal days.
