Parent Education

Parent Educators provide support and education for parents and caregivers. Parent education services are confidential and provided free of charge by a Parent Educator through classes, individual office sessions, and in-home visitation.

Your Journey Together

A free eight-week parenting class for those looking to enhance their parenting experience.

Your parenting can be easier and more effective!

  • Enjoy parenting as opposed to going through the motions

  • Raise well-behaved children who are socially and emotionally mature

  • Strengthen self-control and interpersonal skills for school and life

  • Encourage "bounce back" in the face of adversity (resiliency)

Bright Starts S.M.I.L.E. Program

Details the Bright Starts S.M.I.L.E. Home Visiting Program. This program is for families who have a child ages newborn to five years and are willing to meet with a Parent Educator one to four times per month.
The Five Protective Factors are detailed here. They are: parental resilience, social connections, concrete strength in times of need, knowledge of parenting and child development, and social and emotional competence of children.
